West Brom: Marti Sifontes is not on the Bagis short list to replace Mowbray

QPR coach Marti Sefontes is not on West Bromwich Albion’s short squad for the club’s coach. Reports BBC Radio WM, external.

The Spaniard, who was placed in a horticultural leave by Ranjarz last night, has been contacted with the family of the colleague – Tony Mobber – and the work in Norwich City.

According to the BBC WM, West Bromwich has not offered anyone the job and “continue the process of their employment.

Sifontes was appointed as the leader of the QPR in October 2023, replaced Gareth Aydinsors and took him to the tournament’s safety, because they took second place below.

After another slow start this season, the Londoners are 15th on the table and will be assistant coaches Kevin Betisi and Xavi Kalmian, who are responsible for the club’s final in Sanderland on Saturday.

“This is naturally a disappointing situation for all those who are worried,” said Christian Nori, CEO of QPR.

“We are working as a club to make sure that this issue will be resolved quickly so that we can seriously start preparing for the future.

Tony Mobara was knocked out of the pitch by West Bromwich last week after winning only five in 18 league games and ending his hopes.

James Morrison will remain interim president for their last game against Lutton on Saturday.
