The midfielder Walls felt that it was “free-pored” by the team – and couldn’t be a better night for him.
The 27-year-old didn’t score a top goal for his country before Friday.
“Happiness” for Walsh after that – and the team made fun of it’s one’s own goal because the shot was confused before beating Belgian goalkeeper Nicky Everard.
“I’m really excited. It took a big confusion – but Amanj is a goal,” he said.
“All the girls are very happy for me who really feels good. Finally I won one of them. Some of them want to remind me of how long it takes, but I’m on the moon and really good to leave.
“It’s like one of my loved ones. In general, with the team’s performance, we played a lot of good attacking football and it was a nice evening to be part of it,” he said.
Walsh wasn’t the only goal of England’s first goal because Chelsea’s friend Biver-Johns came out of the bench and scored.
The 21-year-old’s first goal came in his fourth game and received his first call in May last year.
“I can’t really believe me. I haven’t beaten me yet. I think I’m more striking for Kira if I’m honest,” he said.
“I have played at this stadium before and I have scored before, so I had a good feeling that I came in,” he said.
“I’m proud to keep me on the ground and hard work and very difficult things you get the moments like this. I’m very happy to have received it well.
