Wilkinson has said the club will once again push one of the world’s main countries, with Wales holding Sweden twice and approaching the A4 rounds of the A4 and near Denmark and Italy, both of whom beat Wales 1-0.
“It was a great performance. We had a good part of the game,” he told the game.
“In football, you have to ride your luck and they (Sweden) have been close to a couple of times, but the way this team leaves, the way they are established in order to get a draw against Sweden from a distance is a phenomenon.
“It doesn’t matter who we wear, it doesn’t matter what role I ask them to play, they give everything. It’s not always enough and I don’t ask for perfection.
“It’s what I want the people of Wales to be proud of, that this team sets the performances for them.
