
Tottenham midfielder James Madison will miss the last three weeks of the season with a hamstring injury.
The 28-year-old scored, but was injured in a 3-1 win over Bodo/Gilmat in the Europa League semi-finals on Thursday.
After the game, Ange Postkoglo was a positive vote.
But Friday morning it became clear that the injury was more difficult than initially feared, and the scans later confirmed.
Sources said Madison will be evaluated for the damage of the knee link, which will be explained in the next 48 hours.
The news comes as a polar position in Tottenham to reach the Europa League final and will play in Norway on Thursday, May 8, Norway.
But Madison will certainly not be available for the second round of the semi-finals or final at the end of this month.
After the draw 1-1 with West Ham on Sunday, Postkoglo said: ‘We may get some explanations (on Monday).
“We can say that the contractor doesn’t appear, but we just wait and see.
