Primark President Paul Marsant has resigned after a woman’s accusation of “healthing against her in a social environment.
Associated Food (ABF), the owner of Primark, after a study by foreign lawyers, Mr. Marshtt “acknowledges his decision-making mistakes that his actions are below the standards expected” by the business.
Mr. Marsant helped the investigation and apologized to the individual.
“I am extremely hopeless. Collaborators and others must be treated with respect and dignity. Our culture must be bigger than any individual,” said George Weston, CEO of ABF.
“In ABF, we believe that the high standards of integrity are very important. Responsible action is the only way to build and manage a long-term job,” he said.
The company said it was in touch with the person who “realally raised his concerns and provided us with our support.
