Sporting Kansas City have agreed to separate roads with Peter Vermis, the Great Footballers Club said Monday that Kerry Zavagenin will be appointed interim president.

During his 16-year career at the club, Vermes led the SKC for four major tournaments and 11 games in the Playup, eight of which were consecutive between 2011 and 2018.

“It’s difficult to present all the people I want to thank after 20 seasons in Sporting Kansas,” Vermes said.

“I thank everyone, especially the ownership, who has given him the opportunity to be the manager of this club over the past two decades. I don’t hope for anything else in the future.
