
Nintendo and Seattle Marines have announced the expansion of decades of partnership, with Marines winning their first arm partner.
Nintendo has announced that the company will be on the arms of Marines, which is the first time for the team. A short teaser has revealed that the design set on the Marines’ arm in home games — Classic Nintendo logo “RACETRACK” on a red slice — while their distances contain the Nintendo Switch 2 logo, a new console released later this year. Marines is the first team in MLB to have different packs for home and outside games.
The Ule Star midfielder, Julio Rodriguez, will become brand’s ambassador to Nintendo and partnership with the team.
In 1992, Nintendo bought a stake in control of Marines after the then CEO of Nintendo Hiroshi Yamachi wanted to thank the company’s headquarters in the United States to support him. In 2016, Nintendo sold most of the team, which kept 10 percent ownership.
