The 15th annual winner of the Scottish Natural Photography Award has been announced.
Nicky Günes-Jons, who lives in an orkney, won the main prize for a picture of Fulmar in rainy rain on a cold day in December.
“The middle of the day and the sun is low in the sky,” he said.
“I wanted something special in despair in the moments when the winter lights of the Ryking produced deep shadows and excellent golden tone,” Nikki said.
