While the big Chinese competition wasn’t kind to the team, it gave Sauber a hard understanding of where they were as a team.
“We have given him a solid understanding of the first race of this season, where we as a team stood and where we need to be better,” Bennoto told the Japanese competition. “Both Melbourne and Shanghai have shown that we have the ability to fight for points, while China was more unhappy and more difficult, but still valuable in terms of data and learning.
“Suzuka is a circle that asks for accuracy and confidence in its angles, and it will be very important for everything to be achieved from the beginning of the week,” he said. “We must take advantage of every opportunity and continue to progress. “Suzuka is one of the tracks that really pushs you as a driver. It has a lot of fast, technical and demand, which makes it a great reward at the end of a chin,” Hulkinberg said. “I always enjoy competitions here – Fans are some of the most passionate in the world. Looking at the first two competitions this season, we have had some positive to build on it, and we know where to be better.
Bortolito has said that the previous weeks of the competition have been great learning experiences for me, and I expect Suzuka to be no different. I have prepared a lot in the simulator, and I am happily waiting for him to experience in real life.
“The past two rounds have shown what is needed to manage the scope of full competition and adapt to different circumstances, and I feel that I will make progress with every meeting. “It’s three times intense and full, but I’m waiting for challenges with the utmost waiting and seeing how much I can grow in the next few competitions.
