
South Africa’s Rob Walter has resigned and has referred to “personal causes.
The 49-year-old took over in March 2023 and took the lead at the end of that year to the 50-end semi-finals.
They also reached the 20th World Cup final in Barbados last year and lost to India in the final, this year’s Champions League semi-finals.
“The coaching of the Protents was an incredible honor, and I have an immense pride in what we have achieved together,” Walter said.
The players, the support staff and the South African Cricket community were fantastically imaginary.
“While it’s time to take steps, I have no doubt that the team will continue to grow and reach more heights.
