Carlo Ancelotti has called Zab Alonso “one of the best in the world, as he is rumored to be a Real Madrid manager.
Bayer Leverkusen president Alonso announced on Friday that he would leave the German club at the end of the season.
Alonso is set to be held as the new president of Real Madrid, when Ansaloti’s departure has been confirmed.
“He has done an incredible job and his doors have been opened to him because he has shown him one of the best in the world,” Ancelotti said in a statement for Sunday’s game against Barcelona against Barcelona.
But the 65-year-old, who is rumored to be Brazil’s future manager, refused to answer any questions about the future of his management.
“It’s with this club, the honeymoon doesn’t end,” Ancelotti said. “The bee will continue with Madrid until the last day of my life.
Carlo Ancelotti won 15 titles in two games as Real Madrid coach and Los Blancos last season for two goals in the Champions League.
But the campaign is four points clear at the top of the table, and it could end without a trophy for the first time in four seasons.
Last year, Alonso took Leverkusen to the Premier League title, without losing a game, and the Bundesliga in his first season as a top coach.
The Spaniard, 43, won a title at Real Madrid in 2014.
