Rangers condemns ‘unacceptable’

This was the first time Celtic fans have been able to participate in the derby of an Old Ibrooks derby since January

A spokesman for Rangers says Ranges has condemned the act that threw a bottle on them in today’s game.

“This behavior has no place on our stadium. The steps have been taken to identify the responsible person and the club will take the strongest measures when their identity is confirmed.

“We also acknowledge that TEFO has crossed a line before the game starts and is unacceptable. Our way of displaying supporters is always based on trust, with responsibility on groups to use good sentences.

“We are thinking about how these shows are conducted and participate with support groups to ensure the proper balance of trust, responsibility and monitoring of steps forward.

“Angers is proud of his fans and we all have a duty to maintain the standard and reputation of our club.

“We are aware of the banner and the investigation continues,” a Scottish police spokesman told the BBC.

Any possible accusation of the Scottish professional football league against Rangers can depend on whether the incidents were reported in the deputy game’s report.
