PSG V Arsenal: The Gunners need ‘great football and magical moments’ to reach the Champions League final.

Dicklan Rice says Arsenal need “great football” and “magic moments” if they want to cancel their semi-finals against Paris Saint-Germain and reach the Champions League final.

Michael Arteta faced the French champions in Paris on Wednesday after losing 1-0 in the first leg, thanks to Osman Dembele’s early strike at the Emirates Stadium last week.

Arsenal have been linked with a move to the Champions League final since

“We have to have a big ball and we have to go out there on the biggest stage and show that we are ready to play at this level,” Rice said.

“That’s before the end, 90 minutes away from the final – I think that’s all the things you need to know.

“I think the coach has spoken to us – we know what we can get tomorrow night and that’s football,” he said.

“We can go out there and we can get something big for this club and that’s what we want to do. Of course we know we’ve gone down 1-0 but we have a complete belief, the positive, we will go out there and win tomorrow night.

Arsenal fought for Paris Saint-Germain in the early stages of the first game, but Rice said he and his team-mates were full of trust after Arteta made his changes.

“In the first game, you felt very moving in the midfield,” the Spaniard said.

“The way they move between the lines was really smart. But when we worked as we could beat them – obviously we missed several opportunities, but in terms of how we driveed the ball, we gave us the opportunity to open.

“I think we need to do the same tomorrow night.

Rice has seen a large part of Arsenal and has reached this stage of the competition.

The England scored twice in the quarter-finals against Real Madrid in the quarter-finals and won the Player of the Year award.

He said coach Arteta kept talking to his players about production in high pressure.

“He always talks about someone bringing a magical moment,” Rice said.

“I think in that game against Madrid, I obviously managed to produce two penalties, which was incredible,” he said.

“But tomorrow night, the semi-finals are set for another person who may get the magical moment.

“I hope I am again, but you will need a moment of magic to win a game, and we will need it as a team.

“So we hope we can deliver something special tomorrow night.
