Former Leicester, Hall and Crystal Palace manager Peter Taylor has been appointed as the new president of the Canve Island.
The 72-year-old has started playing as a young player at the club before moving to Southland United, Palace, Tottenham Hotspur, Leton Orient and four England capables.
He replaces Brad Wellman, who resigned after finishing 17th in the Economic League, which has been responsible for four years.
Taylor was also the head of England’s career in 2000 for a game in Italy in 2000, when he gave David Beckham captain for the first time.
He has made two appearances as the director of the Under-21-year-old England and has been president of Leicester in the Premier League.
The last job in football was the manager of Maledon and the other in 2023, when he ended only three games for a new season.
