Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has revealed that the anthem of the Phil Foden’s mother has shown “class deficiency”

“It’s not an issue for United but to those involved,” Guardiola said after a goalless Manchester United derby at Old Trafford on Sunday.

In the first half of the Premier League game, Foden international was targeted for insulting the anthem.

“The absence of class. But it’s not united, it’s the people, you know?” Guardiola said.

“We are so obvious that those who are on the screen in the world – managers, owners, and football players in particular,” he said.

“He honestly, I don’t understand the minds of those whose mothers are involved. It’s the lack of integrity, class, and they should be ashamed.

The result means City remain fifth in the Premier League, one behind Chelsea and United in the 13th place.
