The continuous spread of measles has reached three states and as a strong reminder of the important role that sheep’s defense plays in protecting our communities. It originates in the Genez region of Texas, which has now caused 321 reports, including 38 hospital hospitalization and two deaths, including an age-e-year-old school child who has not been vaccinated.
The primary center in a Texas Menonite community highlights how a decrease in the vaccination rate can lead to rapid transmission of disease. While some may believe that avoiding vaccination with healthier or more immunity from diseases, the reality is that “defense” have been borrowed from their neighbors so far. This mass shield, known as sheep’s defense, is not automatic and cannot bear it; It has been built through high vaccination in decades.
Unfortunately, this protection is now being destroyed due to the increase in the suspicion of the vaccine.
Hearings are immune to make sure that the only highly vaccinated part of the population can be vaccinated so that many infectious diseases such as measles cannot find a weak “control” to spread. This strategy protects people who cannot receive vaccines for medical reasons — and even those who reject them for personal beliefs. But with the development of vaccination doubts, many of those who have used sheep’s defense in the past are now in greater danger – in their own way.
A significant engine of the current suspicions included Robert FKenedi Jr. and the non-profit organization that led the children’s health, which has been distrustful of the vaccine and wrong information for years.
Surprisingly – or perhaps necessarily – now, now that Kennedy is the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, over more than 20 years, faces the largest measles in Texas and the first death of children. Recently, at the first meeting of President Donald Trump in the cabinet, Kennedy acknowledged his death, but the spread was probably “not ugly”, sparking widespread criticism.

As Kennedy himself acknowledged, the resurgence of measles “must be like a call for consciousness. The disease was identified in 2000 in the United States, due to decades of vaccination. But since then, the development of the vaccine, partly due to protest information campaigns, has led to a decline in vaccination and repeated recurrence. In some societies, US centers for control and prevention have dropped below 95 percent needed to protect the immune system. the result? Weak inhabitants – including infants, weak immune people and those who appear in the vaccines – are now more dangerous than ever.
The tragic death of a child must be enough to remind us of the serious effects of measles. Although it is true, as Kennedy pointed out that most people who do not die of measles do not die, we cannot ignore the dangerous reality that confirms one in every 10 cases. This figure emphasizes the fact that even insecticides can cause severe health complications, including pneumonia, stroke, pregnancy problems and possibilities of life.
But what makes measles exclusively dangerous is a lot of infectious; Many experts describe it as the most valuable virus known. It spreads through the air particles and can stay in the air for hours. In an incurable society, an infected person can spread measles to 90% of those around them. That is why even a low vaccination rate can cause major spread, with hospitals and deaths that follow. The situation of Texas is evidence that when the defense is distorted, it is a possibility that it is not, but when, when, these spread will follow.
The challenge for Kennedy is not only a response to this special publication, but also the reversal of the suspicion of the vaccine that has developed, in part, because of its past activities. A real leader must be willing to admit mistakes – even if he is not intentional – and the right path. If he is serious about fighting measles, Kennedy must take concrete steps to promote the vaccine, even in areas and times when there is no active spread. Such measures include the launch of aggressive campaigns for public education, ensuring a vaccine, and working with state and local officials to restore confidence in vaccination programs. And, as his ancestors, he must constantly and without hesitation to present his commitment to the vaccines.
In the end, both Kennedy and much of the United States have not been vaccinated and have taken the route to defend the sheep. A minority ability to stay vaccinated and has always relied on the decisions of a large majority to protect them. Now, with the further spread of the spread, one lesson is clear: social defense is not just a personal choice, but a collective responsibility. Kennedy’s legacy is defined by what it has said in the past, but with what it is doing now.
