A Serbian midfielder who stars in Old Trafford is forced to start comparing Manchester United legend Nemanja Vidic.
In December, Nicola Milinkovic scored in the second minute to help Nottingam Fort 3-2 at United and their first win at Old Trafford in nearly 30 years.
On Tuesday, United, third-placed Forest, who sits in the 13th place, asked both players in the second leg and the BBC Sport about the obvious similarities.
“It’s natural,” Vidic told the BBC Sport. “I might raise my load to the defenders. But I’ve put it there to break.
“Nawa-i-Nuw is watching my style of play in Serbia, but their goal is to work better than I have done in my career.
They won five Premier League titles, the FA Cup, the Champions League and the World Cup. Tak, he was named Premier League Player of the Serie A Player of the Year – only Kevin de Bruyne, Cristiano Ronaldo and Thierry Henry – and have been nominated on four occasions in the tour team.
Milinkovic, who has previously described Vaved as a child’s “bit” of childhood, knows that he will certainly not achieve all in his career.
But it will play a major role in bringing Forward into the Champions League “unreliable.
“The standards for the defenders in Serbia. He is our best player so far and I have grown up and I am watching the videos of his games.
“It was his leadership on the pitch and the style of play. He was willing to sacrifice for other players to do everything so that he wouldn’t admit a goal, to live for a clean goal. That’s what I took.
“He was also very good reading of the game. He was a very smart player and he was really aggressive on the pitch.
Vidic has never seen Millinkovich but has followed him as a young man with partizan Belgrade and seven seasons in Serie A with Fiorentina before joining a £12m deal last summer.
Mininkovic was nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month, alongside Force Stadium in the FA Cup semi-finals.
“He’s a great representative for Serbian football,” Vidic said. “He’s a great example of how the players behave and work hard to try to succeed and keep their jobs,” he said.
“He likes to defend and has improved tactically because he has played in Italy,” he said.
“Compared (with me) is not fair (with me). He has his own ability and has a good profession. He is 27 years old and for a defender who is still young.
“Well, ‘When I’m young, Vidic was the goal I wanted to aim for’. But the players should push themselves to be more than their idols and those who are compared.
“He’s 27 years old. I came to England when I was 24 or 25 years old.
