Newcastle coach Edie Hoo will be admitted to hospital on Sunday with Manchester United in the Premier League.
The 47-year-old man went to hospital late Friday evening and felt unpleasant for several days.
“Eddi’s medical staff has kept him in hospital for a night for further testing,” the club said in a statement.
“He is conscious and speaks to his family, and continues to take care of a specialist.
“Everyone in Newcastle United extends their best hopes for quick recovery, and will lead to more timely renewal.
In the absence of Hooda, assistant managers Jason Tendal and Graym Jones are leading Newcastle to Robin Amrom’s visit to St. James’ park.
