Kevin de Bruyne insisted that the belief he could still cut in the Premier League and said his team-mates were upset that he had to leave Manchester City.
Belgium scored the only goal on Saturday, as City beat Wolves with a difficult victory over Wolves, which is scheduled to be the end of De Bruyne at the Etihad.
He came in the final bullet by the fans and was slowly walking around the pitch, but after he insisted he tried not to feel emotionally about his close departure.
“I’m just trying to play as well as I can. I have one game left here, but I just try to do my job as always,” he told Sky Sports.
“I have one game left here, I’m proud of what I’m doing.

The team’s friends don’t want De Bruyne to go
De Bruyne said she had a lot of love in the dressing room, adding, “Many of the team’s friends spoke to me.
“I am a good friend of the team and I act, how should it be everyone?” I want to win the games.”
De Bruyne has been linked with a move to the United States – Chicago Fire was the latest MLS, but the 33-year-old feels he can still play on the English starting line-up.
“I have shown that I can still play here (in England),” he said. “Otherwise, I don’t think I can do what I’ve done in the past four or five weeks.

Tonight’s success was City’s fifth consecutive in all competitions but was not without some wealth.
“It’s a difficult game,” De Bruyne said. “We know it’s a difficult year, but we’ll find a little trench and we’ll win the games we need to win now, so let’s hope to finish the season.
“Now we can just be a little calm and see what other teams will do this weekend.
