Mikel Arteta: Arsenal manager considers his time in recent seasons

Michael Arteta has claimed that Arsenal have won two Premier League cups in the past two, as they have had more points than Liverpool at the end of the campaign when they won the title this season.

Arteta pointed out the fact that Liverpool were crowned with a lower point than Arsenal, when they finished second in the previous two campaigns for Manchester City.

“Winning the cups is at the right time at the right place, Liverpool have two Premier League titles with a lesser point than they have won the title in the past two seasons,” the 43-year-old said.

However, Liverpool, on 82 points and three games left, can still be able to pass 89 points last season, and get 84 points from 2022-2

Liverpool have four games left in April and four.

Arsenal are second on 15 points, just three points from Manchester City after losing to Bournemouth at the end of last week. They will face Liverpool in Anfield on Sunday.

Before that, they will try to keep their last hope of winning silver goods by canceling the deficit of their first game against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday (20:00 BST) to reach the Champions League final.

“I hope we will be in a suitable place in Paris at the right time and get the right to be in the final,” he said.

After the FA Cup win in the first season of Arteta in 2020, they have won the Golden Golden Games.

But after reaching the quarter-finals of the Champions League last season, the Spaniard has reached the semi-finals since

Inter Milan are waiting for Arsenal or Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final, after beating Barcelona 7-6 in the semi-finals.
