Mark Skinner has accepted “doesn’t he’s not happy with everyone” at Manchester United fans after a different reaction to the announcement of his new contract.
The 42-year-old director recently extended the two-year contract until June 2027, with an extra 12-month option.
United are in third place in the women’s first division with the best immune system in the league.
They have also reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup, where they will play local rivals on Sunday.
Asked if he had silenced his critics this season, Skinner told the BBC Sport: “I never think about it. I really respect everyone and their opinions.
But knowing that some of his supporters would like to see that he replaces him is an uncomfortable fact.
“Of course it’s not nice to listen, of course not,” Skinner said. “I’m human. My energy is always for my team and for the fans, it’s not to try and prove people wrong.

Skinner then led his team to their first tribute to win the FA Cup last year.
He feels that his team is on an upper corridor and wants to take them in a car, regardless of whether his work has been evaluated by some parts of the fans.
“I respect them, I respect their views, but I still work in the best way and try to improve people every day,” Skinner said.
“They want their team to win and if I can convey it to them, it doesn’t matter if I like it or not.
“I’m really proud of what the team will do this year and I want to be sure of the fans and the whole club that I am the figure that pushs us to continue to win and create a team that can be strong in the future for many years.
