Maresca asks Chelsea fans to trust them despite the trembling form

Chelsea manager Inzu Mareska has asked fans to trust them as the Blues’ win the Europa Conference.

The Italian is under more pressure from loyal supporters of the club and felt their dissatisfaction during Sunday’s game 2-2 with Ipswich.

Chelsea’s players and staff after taking 2-0 2-0, something that Maresca later suggested influenced his team’s performance.

He added that the hostile environment of his team as he wanted, prevented playing, eventually led to their points to be reduced.

No more questions about the future at the club have been raised before the second quarter-finals of Chelsea against Legia Warsaw.

When asked if he could host Chelsea fans, Maresca said: “I can’t do a different style.

“The message (D) with (he) the fans (from behind us) we are the best team. I fully understand that as a team, we have to participate in our fans.

After Sunday’s result, Chelsea dropped to sixth in the Premier League and are now in danger of not playing in the Champions League next season.

“I think we have proved that this season (which we move forward) even if it’s sometimes difficult to see outside,” he said.

Barcelona midfielder says Chelsea have been zero in the past two years. This season we have been in four startings for most of the season. I don’t know why – I wasn’t here last season or two years ago – I don’t judge those seasons, just this season.

“But I think the fans have to trust us, that team and what the club is doing now because if Chelsea haven’t been with four starting players in the past two seasons, and Chelsea have been in the best four years this season.

Barcelona midfielder: “Is that enough for me?” No, because I would like to fight for titles, to fight for the Premier League and the Champions League.

“We can reach the European semi-finals, yes, it’s not European champions, but it’s still a European competition,” he said. That’s clear the right direction and style is true.

“I’ve used to be the third best defender and the fourth or fifth striker was the fourth defender,” he said.
