A professional football player has been jailed for 14 months after a cyclist died while crashing in West Yorkkers.
Adrian Daniel, 33, died 10 days later by a Mercedes G-350 driving by Mansfield striker Lucas Akinsey near Haderfield in March
The 36-year-old player from Heace Rod, Tongsbridge, Holmvirth, has been imprisoned in the Thief court of Leeds and has previously confessed to driving indifferent or insignificant driving.
In an influential statement of the victim, Mr. Daniel’s wife, Savannah, said her death was “like hell and a nightmare that I didn’t wake up from,” he said.

“He was a grandfather, son and wife and his inheritance must always live fully,” Daniel said.
Mr. Daniel, a native of Meltam, walked around his workplace on March 17 along Headersfield on Neterton, when the footballer withdrew from the merger with Crossland.
The court heard the plane crash on the camera of Mr. Daniel’s hat, and he did not break the speed of his bicycle and took a suitable position in the middle of the line.
Judge Alex Minrie said Akins, who played for Mansfield in the first round on Monday, did not check on the left and right before he drew himself.
“If he had stopped for longer, he would allow Mr. Daniel to travel any blind place,” the judge added.

Grena, who was fined, did not show any feelings and was banned for 12 months.
“I offer condolences to Adrian Daniel’s family at this difficult time,” Town said in a statement.
“The club will take into account their position on Lucas and he will not give any other comments at this stage,” the club added.
The court heard the father of the three people, the former clubs, Hadersfield Town and Berton Albion, took his daughter in his car to a piano lesson when the fall occurred.

Ms. Daniel criticized Akins for pleading guilty at first opportunity, but said she did not want to go to prison.
“We don’t need another life to destroy it.
By defence, Tim Paul apologizes on behalf of Akins.
“The fact that caused Mr. Daniel’s death continues to overcome his thoughts and it is the burden that he carries until the end of his life,” he said.
Judge Minrie did not acknowledge the Akins’ reduction, but finally said: “It seems that the right punishment can only be obtained by immediate detention.
He said he had accepted Akins’ regret, but said he had extended his “heart and sorrow” of Daniel’s “heart and sorrow” at a previous stage.
In a statement issued after the punishment, Ms. Daniel criticized “the Akinzi’s scandal on the judicial system.
“All this could be treated sooner and this is a more insult to injuries,” he said.
“(That) makes fun of any regret that Akins offers for his actions.
