Manchester City’s prediction against Aston Villa
Manchester City host Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday evening, which could play a decisive role in the Champions League qualifiers.
Both sides come into the middle of the week on the back of attractive wins. Manchester City beat Everton 2-0 at the Everton on Saturday, with Nico Aurely and Matthew Kovacic late.
Aston Villa, meanwhile, beat Newcastle 4-1 at the Magpees at Villa Park.
The result allowed City to be closed in Newcastle, and Pep Guardiola now have 10 points in the finals of the league – three of those who have a clean goal.
He remained at home in 2025 and was mostly in a lot of castles, with only Liverpool and Real Madrid winning the Etihad.
Against Villa, City are proud of a terrible record at home, winning in their last 14 games at Manchester.
Villa has not taken it to Earth since 2007, when Stuart Pirss was still in charge before taking it. But by their current force, this can be the season that is cursed.

Manchester City’s team against Aston Villa
City are likely to start Matthew Kovacic, who is on the verge of playing in the Premier League.
Phil Foden and Manuel Akanji both made the last time the bench and can return to the starting line-up. But goalkeeper Ederson has been out of the pitch with a stomach, while Rodrim and Netan Ak are not expected to return this season.
Erling Holland and John Stones are still recovering and are unlikely to return before May.
For Villa, Pau Torres missed a small issue at the weekend and is still doubtful. Lyon Baley and Ross Barkley have both returned from injuries, although Bayle was not part of the squad on Saturday.
Markus Rashford may be in line to start when he returns to his hometown. Oli Watkins, who scored the first goal at the weekend, now draws with Gabriel Agbonlahoro as the top scorer in the Premier League with 74 goals. He attacked the post twice and was unfortunate not to break the record explicitly.
