Leonies: England to play Jamaica in Leicester in their last friendly before Euro 2025

England will play at the King Power Stadium in the last friendly before Euro 2025 at the King Power Stadium in Leicester.

It is the first time the nations have faced each other, and will be held on Sunday, June 29 (17:00 BST).

England will defend the Euros title against France on July 5 and host the tournament in Switzerland.

Jamaica reached the World Cup final in 2023 after taking Brazil out of the groups.

Sarina Wigman recently beat Ashton Gates 5-0 in Belgium but lost 3-2 to Leven and finished second in the Premier League group after Spain.

“I’m really happy that I was able to play a good game to end our Euro 2013 preparations,” Wigman said.

“Jamaica will be a difficult test, they are a nation they have never faced before and a real opportunity for us to continue to learn and develop as a team.

“They will build themselves as a team and have really performed well, especially at the World Cup. It will be a special occasion in a big stadium that we have played well in the past.
