A front week for Jamal and Barcelona
They are seven points clear at the top of La Liga, although Real Madrid have four points on Saturday, while they face Carlo Ancelotti on Saturday, four days before they face Inter Milan in the Champions League semi-finals.
Yamal grew up 30 kilometers north of Barcelona and admits that he believes that children are now wearing shirts and are behind it.
“When I was a child, I was wearing Neymar’s shirts, Messi’s clothes, all these players, so seeing children wearing my shirt, that is, I am inspired, at least in football.
“It’s something I never thought of happening so fast: (see) the 13-year-old child in a child’s shirt that is only four years older than them.
“My mother always tells me to think about that importance; it doesn’t only come to anyone, it goes somewhere and I see a child wearing a shirt.
Yamal’s parents keep on the ground
Jamal’s profile has risen over the past two years and admits that he relies on his parents so that despite the obvious temptation he is on the ground.
“My parents were my signs in everything. Everyone always tells me that I have a little mother and my father. I think that on the pitch I have many of my father and on the outside, I have many mothers.
“They are two people who grew up with them and taught me everything. They have fought for me. My father’s passion for me is not imaginary.
“Therefore, I believe everything I have and I have is to thank them. I always say I can never thank them completely, but I will try.
