Former Celtic goalkeeper Patt Boner believes his old club will have to take another striker next season and asked whether he would be more effective than two players on the pitch.
“They have spent nearly £9 million on Adam Ida,” Scottish said on the BBC radio.
“They could have gone so high again, just to get the striker and outside the striker who goes to score,” he said.
“They have to get someone there.
“Adam is just a young man who scored today, but I don’t know if he needs something alongside him to help him.
Brendan Rodgers has often talked about Edda’s characteristics and Celtic manager has once again appeared in praise of him during his full time.
“Adam is not criticizing him, we know his qualities,” he said.
“This is the first complete season here, it will only be better,” he said. He is a player for those big moments. He scores a big goal, in big games. It will always improve.
“People judge over the price, but he doesn’t put that.
“He is a real hand for us and has shown that he will achieve his goals at all levels.
Eda’s astand gave the club’s CEO Brendan Rodgers, because it prevented the third consecutive defeat to Rangers and protected their 17-point vacations over their main rivals in their city.
“In the first half, I still felt we were in a good place in the game,” Rodgers said.
“The second half, we controlled the game. When you come to Ibrooks, sometimes you have 10-15 minutes under real pressure, you are looking for the wall, but I have never really felt that.
“If I’m criticized, our third game may not have borrowed us by creating opportunities. But our meeting was formed. We achieved the goal, we deserved it.
