
The Waterford Football Club “is completely cooperating with the authorities in a study of a racist incident that allegedly in the Illland Premier League against Shamrock Rovers on Friday night.
A supposed comment has been made against a Rovers player.
“We are a social football club that is proud of our participation and we are proud to welcome everyone to RSC,” a statement said.
“The club is taking all the discrimination reports seriously and will fully cooperate with the authorities,” he said.
“We are standing alongside the Irish league and our supporters in taking a zero tolerant way to fight racism in the game.
The Irish league has confirmed that “According to the rules of the Irish Football Association, a study has been conducted.
“Fai and the Irish league condemn any act of discrimination or racism in our league and have zero tolerance policy when we deal with racism against players or staff, whether on the stadium, on the stadium or online,” their statement said.
