Ian Wright says ‘I can’t accept’

Wright has long been a defender of women’s football, which has been constantly working as an expert, especially the lions’ games.

In an interview with the BBC Radio 4 on Wednesday, Aluko, who worked alongside Wright as an expert, said he should be aware of how much he works in women’s games, because there is only “some of the opportunities” for women.

The former Chelsea midfielder, 38, has been investigating.

“Ian Wright is a brilliant broadcaster and an example of roles that have been important to support women’s games,” he said on Instagram.

“In my interview with women’s watches this week, I was trying to present a broader point about women’s limited opportunities in football – whether it’s in coaching, broadcasting or commercial place – and the importance of building more places for women to grow on the pitch.

“But it was wrong to stimulate the name Ian in this conversation and I apologize for this for that. I have been knowing Ian for many years and I have worked and I have nothing but love and respect for him.
