Golden Ace, who has used the fall of Hill, Mane Victors and Mane Vectors, was initially not planned to go to the championship.
“We were waiting to see if Lusimos would go to Marce or the champions,” he said.
“Obviously, he is a very talented horse, so we inclined to the snakes with competitive levels.
“The owner, Ian Gosden, decided to go to the champion because there are some good prizes if we end in the places, so of course I and Jeremy (Scoat, coach) we were happy that we are on the ship.
Golden Ace began with a 25-1 draw as an outside player and the hill of the constitution took the lead in the market.
“I was very happy in the early stages of the race. When I turned myself home, I thought he was running a cracker. Even when a state man came down later, I never thought it was over.
“I couldn’t believe that when I crossed the line, I hoped that both horses and jokes were good, it was just an incredible feeling.
Golden Ace won the £255,000 prize for the team, while Lossiemouth traveled to win to protect the barrier of his Marres and secured his third victory at the festival.
Golden Ace coach Jeremy Scott says the seven-year-old is now heading for the Pencistal Film Festival.
“I turned to that, it would be a beautiful game and a potential with the constitution of the Hill and the state man. I wasn’t riding in Pangesta at the age of 17, so I can’t wait to support,” he said.
