
A woman has been arrested on charges of hiding birth, neglect and fetalization after her newborn son was found dead outside an Indone church.
Metropolitan police said the mother was 30 years old and was taken to a nearby hospital to make sure she was given all medical care.
He will stay in the hospital.
The body of the newborn boy was found in a black suitcase of Marx and Spencer by a council worker outside the church of the Ul Sintz Church, outside the Talbot Road in Notting Hill, at 12.46 pm on Tuesday.

Scotland Yard said the forensic medical examination on the baby will be held later this week and investigations will remain an “open well” about the circumstances that has caused death.
“We believe the woman is the mother of the child and I’m sure he will receive the support he needs, while the officers continue to work to understand what happened,” said the school supervisor, Owen Renud, who leads police for Kington and Chelsea.
“I admit that the news of this arrest may cause concern between our society, but when we deal with this kind of investigation, our priority is to ensure the welfare of all parties concerned and ensure that all investigation lines are fully investigated.
