Michael Arteta says Arsenal are “a ready to deliver” against Real Madrid tomorrow night.
The Gunners host Gintz in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals and will try to reach the finals for the first time in 16 years.
They couldn’t choose a tougher counterpart with Madrid, the most successful club in the Champions League/European Cup, which won 15 times, including last year when they saw him at Wembley at Borussia Dortmund.

Arteta knows that Madrid are synonymous with winning the race, but the Spaniard was in a self-confidence mood before the UAE had a clash with Carlo Ancelotti.
“It is a pleasure to prepare the game, just to look at the reaction of the people and how we feel that we will reach a game of this greatness. This is the stage we want to be.
– Tomorrow night, tomorrow night, 11 players, 60,000 people, Super Super are really convinced that we are ready to win and beat them. That’s the thought I want.
“The other, … (only) be the team that we were the last quarter of the season, with all the ups and downs and things we had to deal with, continue to do that because it is the power of the superior.
Artata hopeless about winning Real Madrid and Edge closer to silver
For all the good things he has done at Arsenal since 2019, Arteta has been able to just one trophy – the FA Cup in 2020 – and has been desperate to change the record.
“Therefore, I came into football, so I came into the management and especially for this football club, 20 years have passed since this kind of game and for us a very good opportunity to create our own story and this is what we are here.
“We will set all the squads, everything in our hands to play with the game we want and take the game in the direction we want to get it. We are going to need our people to play with us.
“At this stage you need your home stadium to create a very special atmosphere to create force, so I encourage everyone to go there tomorrow to play with us, not watch it there but play with us.
Arteta plans to counter Real Madrid attack threat
Arsenal suffered a major blow last week, with Gabriel’s key defender ruled out of the season with a hamstring injury at the Fulham Stadium.
Arteta says she knows what she is doing to Madrid in an attempt to fight their four terrible fronts in Kalian Mbappe, Rodrigo, Venus Jr. and Jude Bengham, but has refused to reveal his plans.
He began with Jacob Cyor alongside William Saliba for a 1-1 draw in Everton on Saturday, but Ben White has an option for an hour at Gudison Park.
It may move white into the center, instead of kiyor, with the trees of the straight defender.
“Everyone is available at the weekend,” Arteta said. “We held another training session this afternoon. Ben finished the game (in Everton) and it was good. The others passed the game and they were able to do some some of the amounts ready for training today.

Saka to start for Arsenal
Bukayo Saka appears to begin after leaving the bench in the last two games after being out of action.
“He’s in a much better place,” Arteta said. “We have made minutes of the past six or seven days. He is really facing it well and is in a good place to be used.
