Clark loves players who have strength and resistance, players who have endured sets but refuse to bind them, the players who have been deleted but always come out.
It is not surprising that Iman keeps him with Hanly, despite the lack of football in his legs.
It is not anyone’s idea about the full midfielder. It does not get out of the defense and does not hit a spray buse. He doesn’t impress his technique well. There is a couple of mistakes in him.
But in the glass business, he is there. He takes a little beating in terms of mental patience.
Several inches may have been away from the penalty shootout at the end of the game on Thursday, but the big survivor survived. And there was justice in that.
