Crystal Palace CEO Oliver Glasner has never watched the FA Cup final – and says he can’t control him as a young Austria because he was “no internet.
Glasner, who was born in the small town of Austria, hopes to take a step closer to their first trophy when they face Aston Villa at the Wembley on Saturday at Wembley.
The 50-year-old answered when asked when asked about his memoirs in the most famous days of the English Football Calenion.
– There was no internet… I’m a little older than most of you. But on the number one day I felt here that it was… a huge cup in England. That’s why we enjoy us, and it’s another reason for us to go to the final.

Taylor Swift: Glasner hopes to be in the singing
If Palace wins, Glasner will become the first Austrian to reach the final, his country will be the first new nation to be represented by a German manager since 2021, when Thomas Tuchel took responsibility for Chelsea.
Glasner to watch his three lions and by order of his daughter to see the most famous pop star in the world.
“We have played two England games and I have brought my daughter for Taylor Swift’s concert,” Glasner said. “Of course we enjoy it because it’s the biggest stadium in England. It’s a very traditional stadium,” he said.

Palace are 12 points behind Villa in the Premier League and are trying to win the game for the first time in the fourth attempt.
They have already reached five semi-finals, leading the final in 1990 and 2016, losing to Manchester United on both occasions.

Glasner reached the final twice with former Eintracht Frankfurt clubs, beating Rangers in the 2021/22 Europa League 2022/2
“It’s a game, so I don’t want to make it bigger than it,” Glasner said.
“We feel good preparation. We have given us confidence, especially with the show in the UAE (Stadium, in a 2-2 draw at Arsenal on Wednesday) we will go into Wembley.
