Former Michigan Matt Wisis’s joint coordinator has faced more than 20 federal charges because it is allegedly hacking thousands of college athletes and students across the country to access their “personal and intelligent digital photos and videos” while established by the school.
Weiss was dismissed in January 2023 for computer access, and FBI was confirmed to be involved in an investigation into charges in October. On Thursday, the US Attorney General’s Office for eastern Michigan said Wisis was charged with 14 computers and 10 heavy identities.
Before working for two seasons in Michigan under the former coach, Weis works under Harbao’s brother John. According to the Federal Prosecutor’s Office, Wisis has begun to access illegal accounts when he was with Ravenz.
“According to the accusations, between 2015 and January 2023, the accession to the students’ financial centers-sports centers of more than 100 colleges and universities protected by third-party sellers reached an unlicensed access,” Beck said in a statement. “After accessing this center, Wiss has downloaded known personal information and medical information by more than 150,000 athletes.
“When Weiss has access to these accounts, it downloaded personal and intimiced digital photos and videos that never meant to be shared outside the intestinal partners.
According to the charges, Wisis targeted women athletes and “these women have been investigated and targeted by relying on their school, sports history and physical characteristics.
The accused is by keeping comments on the physical appearance and characteristics of the women who have access to the accounts they have received and downloading the secret words they used for their accounts through a third seller. He is even accused of investigating personal information such as the names of mothers, pets and birthdays for some women in order to predict or reserve their passwords for personal accounts.
The accusation also accuses Weiss of having access to some of the accounts several times several months or years after he started searching for new photos and videos for the first time.
Weiss was granted leave after being accused of illegal activities at the Şembichler Football Institute in December 2022 after failing to attend a meeting with school officials.
“After reviewing the university policies, the sports department has canceled the quarterback-mattur-speaking coordinator of Matt Wiss,” Michigan sporting director Warda Manuel said at the expulsion of Weiss. “By avoiding university policies, we will not have any further comments on these employees.
