South Carolina’s No. 1 has faced another fear of the 2025 NCAA Women’s Championship, but won 54-50 in Duke No. 2 of the No. 2 in the eighth elite. Gamecox is now in the fourth round of the fourth consecutive season and their efforts to become the first team to repeat because the national champion survived after winning four consecutive goals in 2013-16.
They face the winner of Monday night between Texas, Texas and TCU.
While South Carolina is preparing for a trip to Tampa in Florida, it is more doubtful that it may have been at any other point of the season. The biggest concern for Gaymcox is aggressive, especially the absence of the club’s top scorer.
Gaymcox’s 54 points were the lowest level of the season, and they changed 16 times more, drawing the fourth most of the game. They also scored 43.2 percent from the pitch, the ninth worst attempt. No one has scored more than 14 points, and Sania Figin was the only other player in two issues.
“Only I hope we can play our strikers a little bit,” said South Carolina coach Down Stali after running away from Duck. “We seem ton’t just play a little loose.
Questions about South Carolina striker are not much reacting to a single game against the Duck elite’s defense. Gamecox looked at the game against Maryland and Indiana in the final two rounds of the tournament, and there were several harsh games against the starting race throughout the season.
The general numbers tell you that South Carolina is one of the best attacking teams in the country, but there is a significant difference between what they did in the Quad1 games compared to the non-Kawad 1 games.

If we speak fairly, other candidates will see a similar leave to better teams. But Gamecox has some unique issues that hurt them during the tournament. Perhaps most importantly, the difference in the efficiency of South Carolina in the middle of the pitch is amazing.
In Quad1, only 40.9% of the semi-stadium acquisition, according to CBB Analytics, 82nd in the country. This is compared to 59.6% of the shooting on transportation. Overall, there is a lesser rapid breaking chance than better teams, and that’s more true in the tournament when the games slow down for Craul.
“Look, I mean, it doesn’t look beautiful at this point. Well, that’s not it,” he said. “There is a withdrawal in every game that doesn’t look beautiful… Some of them don’t look easily like coaches and players we imagine or how to train, but you’ll definitely have to get off and play the kind of game in front of you.
One of the main reasons that Gaymcox have problems in half the pitch to score, the lack of a real option. During the past tournament, Gaymcox has always had someone to play at the end of the attack, whether it is Ayja Wilson.
This season, the first round striker Joyce Edwards, who comes out of the bench, is the club’s top scorer on 12.7 points, and six different players with at least eight points. There are many benefits from the depth of the gymcox and the approach of the sub-committee, but sometimes you only need someone who can provide you with a bucket.
Gamecox has players can Do that. Only another day, Milazia Fulili saved 16 points from 16 points on 23 points, while Chloe Kitts made a 25-point SEC game against Vanderbell. But who and when they are not always clear, and they can sometimes disappear from attacking at times.
If Gamecox wins the title, 12.7 points per game will be 12.7 points per game per game, the lowest of the national champion in the past 20 years. Only twice in that category, the leading scorer of a team was below 15 points in each game. For the sake of space, here a comparison between the past 10 years of national heroes.

We must say that these issues are relative. Gamecox are outside another national tournament in the quarter-finals. They have an elite defense, a unique level of depth and a lot of experience. If they lift the cup at the top next week, it will not be a shock.
But to do this, they will need a much better performance to striker than they have ever had in the first round of the Teck. Who will take steps to lead?
