“We want to know whether athletes may be more inclined to injury because of their efficient changes in terms of their anatomi and physiology during menstruation,” said Simon Augustus, a senior professor at the university.

“We know the hormones are changed at different stages of the course, but we still don’t know how much the effect affects the risk of injury.

London clubs, including Fulham and Chelsea, and some of them in the basic game, participate in the study regularly their blood and physical performance.

The study follows the density of hormones through their menstrual cycle, especially estrogen and progesterone, with previous studies that suggest that they can be associated with increased liquid looseness and reduced nervous and muscle reaction times.

Scenarios that commonly cause ACL injuries, such as rapid direction and landing after the ball, are analyzed to see if there is a relationship with hormone levels.

“We know some of the wounds are undeniable, but we are trying to help people who hurt or injure them outside of their effects. They are those who may have more chances to interfere and prevent their work by using force or tweak techniques,” Augustus said.

“There are many different reasons for ACL injuries. We are investigating this in an individual approach and we look at the entire profile of an athlete and put the protocols to reduce the risk.
