
Berry Ferguson insists he is anxious for the future for Rangers, whether he remains as president, after meeting with new owners and future sporting director Kevin Tellell.
The former president has spoken about his desire to stay beyond the end of the season, but said “the fake will not break” if the club are looking for a new start.
US investors, including Andrew Cavenag and the 49ers Enterprises, are searching for money, along with a delegation visiting Ibrox this week.
Ferguson welcomed the group at the training center but explained that the exchange was short since he was preparing for Sunday’s meeting with Celtic.
“This is something that the club wanted, foreign investment,” the Spaniard said. “It seems to me that it’s going easily and we just wait to raise the big finger.
“It’s the beginning of a new era for the club and it’s definitely necessary,” he said.
“Like everyone else, I’m only waiting for the day to be signed and I hope it will be a brighter future for Rangers.
Telulle will leave Everton at the end of the season and join Rangers.
“I was impressed by him, but what was said remains in particular,” Ferguson said. “I think he really works well for the club,” he said.
“It was very nice to turn off the heads together. He achieved my feelings and understood it completely.
“There must be a lot of changes to try and make the club successful again because it is made on the winning Cup,” he said.
“If I’m not here, I am very hopeful that the horizon of the new owners and Kiev’s entry.
“I’m comfortable with the situation. It’s been a couple of amazing months for me. Some ups and downs, but it gave me a taste.
“Of course I’ll take it (the manager’s work) if I don’t get it, I won’t go to spit out of the foot. I’ll go back to the role of my ambassador and support the club.
