Bayern Munich defender Eric Deir will leave the club at the end of the season after he refused to stay at the Allianz Arena.
The 31-year-old joined Batslega from Tottenham in January 2024, initially a six-month-old deal.
The Germans have signed midfielders for 45 games for six Champions League winners in the summer.
“We had discussions with Eric about a new deal,” said sporting director Christopho Frend.
“He told us that he didn’t want to extend and leave us.
“He’s a great man. We had a good time together. I hope he crowned his time with us with his first title.
