The Pentagon staff should be tried at the New York Times after the newspaper said the billionaire was expected to be informed about the US military plan for any war that could secede with China.
“The New York Times is pure propaganda,” Mask said in a post at the X on Friday. “Also, I am waiting for the investigation of those who leak bad false information about NYT. They will be found.
Mask’s comments came after President Donald Trump also denied the story of his close ally.
“It’s not even discussed and not discussed,” Trump said in a post on Thursday.
The New York Times did not respond to a request immediately.
A US official, who is not named, told Reuters that the information, which was attended by senior US military officials at the Pentagon, would become a general view on a number of different issues, including China.
A access to a closely protected military plan will escalate the role of Musk as Trump’s adviser, who has led his efforts to cut US government spending.
It also burns questions about the struggle of masks, which, as the president of Tesla and SpaceX, has trade interests in China and with the Pentagon.
The White House has previously said Musk will hold itself if any dispute between its trade transactions and its role in reducing the expenditures of the federal government arises.
Last week, National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard said he had ordered an investigation into the leakage of the intelligence community and an investigation into the local dialogue room for any wrong behavior by staff.
During the first round of Trump, his administration sent more media leaks annually for criminal investigations every 15 years, according to records released by the Justice Ministry in 2021 for the independent monitoring group, in response to the Freedom of Information Act.
