“I don’t accept that,” Goodwin said. “I’ve tried to make sure the players are not thinking about going into five games,” he said.
“Of course there was a quiet sigh when six main players were secured, but at any stage we took us away from the car and we were calm during the training.
“The boys have no extra day on vacation. There are still five big games for us, they have a lot of points.
In a fierce competition for European sites, United will be held between Aberdin and Hebssan sandwich, who will meet at the end of the week.
“There is something Petodri, there’s a point that has gone down by one of the two teams and we have to try and take advantage of it,” he said.
“We’re going to a big defeat, but teams have already proved, like St. Johnston just a few weeks ago, if you get your tactics right on the day, if you defend well and take one or two opportunities you get, you can cause trouble.
