
Doncaster Rovers striker Billy Sharp has signed a new deal with the club that has just finished first.
The 39-year-old, who joined Doncaster for his fourth appearance last summer, scored nine goals in 43 appearances, with Southernurksheier beating second-semester.
The new deal allows Sharp to continue playing outside her 40-year birth that falls in February.
“I enjoyed it this season, it was promoted, I won the league – everything was beautifully tracked,” Sharp told the club’s website., external
“I feel like I like it here. A great dressing room and we’re a higher league and everyone wants to play a high game as much as you can.
“In order to still play the first round of football at the age of 40, it will be a great achievement for me.
No player has scored more than 258 goals in the Sharp league in the top four since his debut for Sheffield United in November
He continued to do two more magics with Blyres and twice helped him win the Premier League.
Sharp, who has won six rankings during her career, has moved with Roshden, Diamonds, Scanatorpy United, Southampton, Notton Forrest, Reading, Leeds United, La Galaxy and Hull City.
