In 2022, Hamilton Agisal signed a legal agreement with Academymal to play for five years at the New Douglas Park Stadium at the New Douglas.
“The FC Click has the right to withdraw at the end of the current season, but Hamilton Academy has no equal right to end the agreement before it ends in
“We have provided a written assurance to the hosts that we have continued our tenants in New Douglas Park for next season in February,” Clide said.
“But despite all our efforts, we have not been able to find an explanation from the Hamilton Academy that the agreement between clubs will prevail outside the current season,” they said.
“In fact, we have an informal reference to the opposite.
Clide insists they didn’t want to play a “more complicated situation” in public, but they felt the need to assure their support “what we are being made by us to resolve this stalemate.
