Boston Celtics sold at $6.1 billion on Thursday, the most prize for a North American sporting player.
The move will change the guard after the Grosbek’s family, the owner of the current majority, took the team to a constant victory, including last season’s NBA championship.
William Chisholm, a partner of the company’s private company, is the lead investor of the group to approve the approval of the NBA. Celtic minority owners and current business manager Bruce Abel Junior, president of relevant companies, and sixth Street, a global investment company, are among other investors.

Who is Bill Chisholm?
Bill Chisholem is a partner of the founder of the Symphony Technology (STG), a private company based in Menlo Park, California. He serves as the main responsible for investment and partnership of the group’s management, supervises the company’s investment strategies. STG is primarily known for its investments in the technology and software sectors.
In March 2023, Chescholm and STG stove 4.2 billion dollars after the company closed its largest box.
Before his time on STG, Chischolm was a partner in the founding of Valent Group, and also worked for Bain & Company and Benewebber, Inc.
Chesholm has a bachelor’s degree from Dartmos College before obtaining a master’s degree in commercial administration, different from Warton School.
Chisholem and Kim’s wife left Dartmos in 1991; Bill played for the men’s football team from 1988-91. Their son, Will, also went to Dartmos and played for the men’s football team, in the 2016-19 season.
