Bristol Rovers has re-appointed Darel Clark as its manager after their descent to the second round.
Rovers sacked coach Inigo Calderon on Sunday, less than 24 hours after the end of a 4-1 win over Blackpool.
Clarke, 47, was in charge of Rovers between 2014 and 2018, which has been in his first attempt to return to the EFL and then immediately qualified for the first round.
“It’s hard to be able to summarize how special feeling it is to go back to Bristol Rovers,” Clark said. “I’m proud of my return and I’m here again at this unique club,” he said.
“Although the season is gone alone, it was undoubtedly difficult, but the ability of the club remains unbelievable and, when the chance of returning came forward, I had no hesitation.
“I hope to go down to my job outside the season, prepare for the new campaign and move out again in front of the shining and passionate gas.
“We will need each of them next season and I want to give them a team that they can get behind and their performances that they can be proud of,” he said.
After leaving Rovers, Clark was followed by Valsal, Port Valle, Cheltthom, and Barnsley recently left in March.
While winning in the second round of Valley, he won the 2022 Player of Off in the 2022 Player of Off.
“I’m very happy to welcome Darrell to Bristol Rovers,” said football CEO Ricky Martin.
“After reviewing the football operation, we began to employed, and quickly became clear to me that Daril was the right person to move our first team forward. He was the number one goal throughout this process.
