
The Europa League win was Tottenham’s first trophy since winning the 2008 Cup with the 1984 UEFA Champions League win.
Post Kogloo is under pressure this season and Spurs is currently fourth in the Premier League.
“I think it can be a turning point for them next season and I think they will earn about £100m,” he said.
“With that idea, I think they can put themselves in six or seven key players next season and fans are waiting for that and they are obviously playing in the Champions League,” he said.
While he admits that there is no game to be forgotten by his own football, he felt that Tottenham had produced a solid attempt at the San Mams.
“Four behind the backs looked strong, I was a little worried about the goalkeeper, but he scored three or four goals,” he said. “At night, it was a good level for team, everyone did a lot of work.
“I didn’t expect them to defend that depth for that time. I thought they might be carried out on other attacks and pushed forward a little more.
“What a crazy season for both sides, however. It’s the lowest that I can remember the spurs, except for the year that went down from 1976-77.
But this victory will certainly give them confidence (spurs). I’m happy for many players, who may never have such an opportunity to play in Europe and win the final.
