Alejandro Garnacho equalized from a penalty at the top of a rapid attack attack in the 37th minute, but Barnes came from the Jacob Murphy and brought Newcastle’s advance four minutes after the break.

The 27-year-old is playing a productive part of Newcastle’s efforts to return to the Champions League for the second time in three seasons in the 2025/26 season.
