Berry Ferguson says Rangers’ future “necessitarant should be set up soon” because the club “has a lot of work to do” after their knockout knockout for Atletico Bilbao has confirmed an uncouraged season.
Oyhan Sansett and Nico Williams’ goals at San Mamés finished Rangers’ trip in the quarter-finals after Ferguson beat Fenerbahchi in the quarter-finals.
The former captain replaced Philip Clement in February until the end of the season, winning four games, losing four and two games in 10 games.
“Where will he leave me now is that I finish the season hard,” Ferguson said when he asked his future.
“I haven’t sat and I’ve talked about it, but it should be lined up soon because we need to do a lot as a club.
“The club needs a return. I just want my club to go back where it should be, whether it is me or someone else,” he said.
