Barry Ferguson says he “loved this experience” after it was confirmed that Saturday’s draw with Hebernian was the last game as Rangers’ interim manager.
Ferguson, who was fired when Philip Clement was fired in February, had claimed responsibility for his role, but those hopes were cut off.
The 47-year-old will leave with coaches Neil McCakkan, Billy Dodz and Alan McGregor.
“I’ve lived as a player before and as the captain of Rangers, and to do that as the coach in the last three months, it was a great honor,” Ferguson said.
“There have been some ups and downs, but I loved this experience and gave it to it all over everything. The support I received was a phenomenon.
“I said, it doesn’t matter how this time it was wide, I will always remain a supporter of the club’s obligatory, and I’m happy to stay at the Rangers’ ambassador.
“I wish anyone would become a new manager every success in the work.
