Arsenal against Paris Saint-Germain: Mikel Arteta says the Gunners ‘yes want more’

Arsenal’s run to the Champions League semi-finals was a “beautiful story” but the Gunners is much more.

Arteta said Tuesday (20:00 BST) is “one of the biggest games at the Emirates Stadium,” and asked fans to “play every ball together.

Arsenal beat Real Madrid 5-1 in the quarter-finals and Paris Saint-Germain’s 2-0 Champions League quarter-finals.

The Gunners, who have ever won the Champions League, last reached the semi-finals in 2009, losing 4-1 to Manchester United.

It is run by Arsene Wenger and lost to Barcelona in the 2006 final.

“You feel the weight of history,” Arteta said on the eve of the semi-finals.

“Especially because we have many people who have worked for many years at this club and have never been in this position. That tells you how unique and beautiful it is.

“We’re making history. It’s a beautiful story right now – but we want much more.

Arsenal have been blocked with injuries, including Kai Havertz, Bukayo Saka, Martin Odigard and Ben-Wiy.

They have only won one of their last four Premier League games, helping Liverpool four substitutes on Sunday.

In Europe, however, they have won six of the league’s eight rounds and have also beat PSV Eindhoven 9-3 in their last 16 games by reaching the semi-finals.

“The fact that we are here as one of the four best teams in Europe, talk about thinking, soul and how really we want,” Arteta said.

His squad will rise with Michael Marino and White for training, but Arteta has challenged Gunners’ loyal players to create a better atmosphere than a 3-0 victory over Real Madrid this month.

“I’m not exaggerating after the FA Cup in

“Do you want to do something special? That place must be something special. What we haven’t seen.
